Hermitage 5 is a five mile road race organised by Hermitage Harriers at Mallory Park Racing Circuit in Leicestershire.
The traffic free course uses the racing circuit and surrounding support roads, with both the start and finish located on the infield. The flat to undulating route provides an unusual opportunity to race five miles entirely within the famous motorsport venue.
Hermitage 5 forms part of the Leicestershire Road Running League and is exclusively open to members of clubs within the league. A cut off time of one hour and 15 minutes applies, with runners required to remain ahead of the sweep vehicle to retain marshal support.
Race headquarters are located at the infield cafe, with pit garages allocated to clubs for baggage storage and changing. The cafe and bar are open during and after the event, with a water station provided at the finish.
