Henley River Half Marathon & 10K April is organised by RunThrough at Remenham Farm, near Henley-on-Thames in Berkshire. Part of a programme of races held at the venue throughout the year, the event combines two main distances with a supporting junior race in a setting closely associated with the famous Henley Royal Regatta.
The courses follow an undulating mixture of tarmac and trail paths beside the River Thames, combining riverside views with the surrounding countryside. The Half Marathon includes a short introductory lap followed by two longer laps, with approximately 99 metres of elevation gain. The 10K follows a single lap, while the junior race uses a shorter out and back route. Course markings and marshals guide runners through the different sections.
Both main distances are chip timed, with water stations and refreshments available. Finishers receive a themed medal, post race goodies and free official photography. An event village at Remenham Farm provides baggage storage, toilets and facilities for runners and spectators.
