The Hazelbury Hurrah! is a multi terrain race organised by Corsham Running Club and held from Leafy Lane Playing Fields in Corsham. The event features an approximately 10K main race for runners aged 16 and over, alongside a junior off road race, while raising funds for local charities and community organisations.
The main course covers around 6 miles on a varied route through the countryside surrounding Hazelbury Manor and Box. Runners tackle woodland trails, open fields, country lanes and technical off road sections, with a mixture of climbs, descents and changing terrain providing a rewarding summer evening challenge. The junior race follows a separate approximately 2K off road course through the playing fields and adjacent woodland.
Held under Trail Running Association rules, the event is fully marshalled and includes chip timing, prizes across a range of categories and post race refreshments for all finishers. Combining scenic Wiltshire countryside, varied trail running and strong community support, the Hazelbury Hurrah! has become a popular fixture in the South West summer running calendar.
