The third event in the four-race Harrock Hill Series, organised by Newburgh Nomads Running Club. The 5.2-mile course takes runners across the tracks, fields and public rights of way of Parbold and Harrock Hills, with around 90% of the route off road.Â
Featuring two significant climbs and approximately 265 metres of ascent, it offers a challenging but rewarding evening race through the West Lancashire countryside.
Held from Hilldale Village Hall, the long-established summer series attracts strong fields and a friendly atmosphere, with runners competing for both individual race honours and overall series prizes. The best three results from the four races count towards the series standings, making every race an important part of the competition.
