View all races for Mar 2027

Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon takes runners through the grounds of one of Britain's most celebrated royal residences and along the banks of the River Thames. Organised by RunThrough, the event combines the historic setting of Hampton Court Palace with a 13.1 mile course through the surrounding riverside landscape.

Starting and finishing within the palace grounds, the route incorporates sections of the Thames Path alongside grass, gravel and towpath surfaces. With approximately 30 metres of elevation gain, the predominantly flat course provides an accessible profile, although runners should expect varied footing. Some riverside paths remain open to pedestrians and cyclists during the event.

The race features chip timing, kilometre markers, marshals and free official photography. Water stations are positioned at approximately 5K, 10K and 15K, with refreshments and a themed medal awaiting finishers. An event village provides baggage storage and other facilities, while a three hour cut-off applies.
