Hameldon Quarry Race starts and finishes at The Hapton Inn, following a demanding 4 mile fell running route onto Hameldon Hill and the surrounding quarry trails. Covering approximately 400 metres of ascent, the course combines steep climbs, fast descents and rough natural terrain, providing a classic fell running challenge with expansive views across Lancashire.
Organised by Running Spec Events under a Fell Runners Association permit, the race welcomes runners aged 14 and over and forms part of the Accrington Fell & Trail Race Series. Entry is available on the day, with team competitions and prizes adding to the competitive atmosphere.
