The Halloween Runificent Run is a seven hour timed event along the Itchen Way in Winchester, following a professionally measured 2.62 mile out and back course from Garnier Road. The smooth route crosses Hockley Viaduct before returning to the event base.
Runners can complete as many laps as they choose within the time limit, with five out and backs making a Half Marathon, ten a Marathon and eleven or more an Ultra. The flat road and pavement course is designed for consistent running, with a well stocked aid station available on each return to the event base.
This Winchester timed running event gives runners flexibility over both distance and start time, with the official start at 08:00 and starts permitted until 13:00. Participants can decide their distance as they go, making it suitable for anything from a shorter run to a full marathon or ultra distance challenge.
