The Gunpowder Trot is Horsham Joggers' fixture in the West Sussex Fun Run League, taking runners across the open countryside of Denne Park and Chesworth Farm. The approximately 4.5 mile route combines rural scenery with panoramic views over Horsham and includes a separate junior race.
The undulating course is predominantly off road, following bridleways, footpaths and open fields, with only a short tarmac section. Conditions can become muddy and uneven, adding to the trail character of the race, and trail shoes are strongly recommended.
