The Summer Green Man Ultra follows the Community Forest Path on a clockwise route around Bristol, with a choice of a 45 mile full loop or a 30 mile partial loop. The mixed terrain course features woodland trails, tracks, footpaths and quieter road sections, creating a demanding route with varied underfoot conditions and steady climbing before finishing at Ashton Park School.
Organised by Ultra Running Limited, the event is held under race conditions with chip timing, supported checkpoints and mandatory kit requirements. The 45 mile event starts and finishes at Ashton Park School, while the 30 mile race begins at The White Horse in Hambrook before joining the same route to the shared finish.
The Summer Green Man Ultra is a demanding test of endurance and navigation, offering experienced runners the challenge of completing a long distance mixed terrain route around Bristol's Community Forest Path within the event cut off times.
