The Green Lantern is a multi terrain race in Exeter, offering a 14.2 mile Green Circle Half Marathon and a shorter 9 mile Yellow Zone route. Starting and finishing at the Quay Climbing Centre, both races explore a wide variety of landscapes around the city using the Green Circle trail network.
The routes combine trails, meadows, playing fields, cycle paths and riverside sections along the River Exe. Runners pass through Ludwell Valley, Hoopern Valley, Redhills and Mincinglake Valley Park, experiencing a mixture of urban green spaces and natural landscapes throughout the course.
With approximately 313 metres of ascent on the full route, the event provides a varied challenge while showcasing many of Exeter's best known outdoor spaces on a scenic circular course around the city.
