Giants Head Weekend is a trail running festival based in Sydling St Nicholas, Dorset, with Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K races alongside the LittleFeet Bell Race. The event brings runners and families together for a weekend of challenging countryside running and village celebrations.
The routes explore the Sydling and Cerne valleys, following rural trails across hilly Dorset countryside. Steep climbs, sharp descents and expansive views make the courses particularly rewarding for runners who enjoy demanding off road terrain. The shorter LittleFeet Bell Race adds a fun challenge, with participants running uphill to collect a bell before returning downhill.
The weekend has a friendly community atmosphere, with local villagers helping to welcome runners and provide food and refreshments. Camping and a Saturday evening barn dance add to the festival experience, while fully marked courses, aid stations and finisher medals support the main races.
