The Harlyn Bay Gecko Gathering is organised by Purple Gecko Events and takes place on the North Cornwall coast between Harlyn Bay and Padstow. The event offers a choice of 10K and Half Marathon coastal trail races, showcasing some of the most scenic coastline in Cornwall.
The 10K route starts from Padstow Rowing Club and follows the South West Coast Path towards Harlyn Bay, finishing beside the beach. The Half Marathon starts and finishes at Harlyn Bay, taking runners out along the coast path to Padstow before returning, with spectacular sea views, rugged cliffs and varied coastal terrain throughout.
The event includes medals for all finishers, personalised race bibs for early entrants, water points, medical cover, free race photography and awards for leading finishers. With its relaxed atmosphere, beautiful coastal setting and supportive organisation, the Harlyn Bay Gecko Gathering offers a memorable trail running experience for runners of different abilities.
