FOBS 5K Trail Run and Colour Run are community events organised by Friends of Box School to raise funds for Box Primary School.
The 5K heads from Box Recreation Ground into the Bybrook Valley on a fully marked and marshalled loop. The mixed terrain route crosses grassy fields and surrounding countryside, with views towards the historic Box Tunnel and stretches close to the Bybrook.
The afternoon begins with a non competitive Colour Run around the event site. Participants can complete one or two 800m laps, passing through four colour stations along the way. It is designed for children, adults, walkers and runners rather than as a timed race.
The 5K follows after the Colour Run and is chip timed by Raceahead. Race headquarters and the start and finish are based at Box Recreation Ground, with refreshments and toilets available.
