Finish Line Frolic is a trail running event held at Belchamps Camp in Hockley, featuring a marathon, half marathon, 10K and 6 hour timed challenge. Competitors run on a traffic free loop of just over 5K, completing the required number of laps for their chosen distance or as many laps as possible within the six hour time limit.
Organised by Hare & Tortoise Running in support of the Finish Line Fund, the event welcomes runners of all abilities. A well stocked aid station is available at the end of every lap, allowing participants easy access to refreshments and personal supplies throughout the race.
The looped format gives runners the flexibility to complete a set distance or continue running within the six hour challenge. Set in the woodland surroundings of Belchamps Camp, Finish Line Frolic combines an accessible trail course with a friendly atmosphere while raising funds to support grassroots sport in the local community.
