The Exe to Axe is a point to point trail race organised by Sidmouth Running Club along the South West Coast Path in East Devon.
The 22 Mile route starts in Exmouth and follows the Jurassic Coast eastwards to Seaton, tackling demanding coastal trails, steep climbs and descents while passing cliffs, beaches and coastal villages. The event also includes the Exe to Axe Relay for teams of two, three or four runners and the 11 Mile Sid to Axe, which starts in Sidmouth and covers the challenging second half of the route to Seaton.
Aid stations are positioned along the course, with baggage transport and an optional pre race coach transfer helping runners manage the point to point format. The races are chip timed and finish on Seaton seafront, completing a distinctive endurance challenge on one of Devon's best known stretches of coastline.
