Exe To Axe
This will be the 22nd year of the Exe to Axe, a challenging trail run from Exmouth to Seaton along the Southwest Coast Path.

The race was the brain child of John Perratt, a talented local runner who you would still see near the front of a race in his 70s. John loved a challenge, which is why he created this race. Thankfully, it’s not only difficult… it’s beautiful! The full 22 mile event is tough, but achievable, with a 7 hour cut-off. If you prefer something a little shorter, you can run the Sid to Axe, starting from the halfway point. Note: in 2026, the registration has moved to Heydays Restaurant - the same location as the start.
