This is a fully tracked race and Open trackers will be supplied. This race follows the official Esk Valley Way, a stunning long distance footpath across the North York Moors. Starting in Castleton, runners will trace the River Esk from its upland origins to the sea, passing through Danby Dale, Rosedale Head, Blakey Ridge, and the remains of Esklets, a medieval sheep farm. The route continues through Westerdale, Danby, Lealholm, Glaisdale, Egton Bridge, and Grosmont before finishing at Whitby Harbour beneath the iconic Abbey ruins.
