Endurancelife Gower is part of the Endurancelife coastal trail series and takes runners across some of the most dramatic landscapes on the Gower Peninsula.
The event offers 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultra distances, with routes using a demanding mixture of grass, moorland, beach and rocky coastal trail. The longer races include substantial climbing, with the Marathon gaining more than 3,400ft and the Ultra almost 3,900ft.
Courses are fully marked and showcase cliff tops, downland, woodland, sand dunes and some of Gower's best known beaches. The event is designed as a serious trail challenge rather than a conventional road race, with mandatory safety requirements applying to the longer distances.
Electronic timing is used throughout, with instant result printouts and split timing available.
