Run Dorney Lake takes place at the purpose built rowing venue that hosted the London 2012 Olympic rowing events. The 5K, 10K and Half Marathon follow traffic free tarmac paths around the lake, creating a scenic setting for a morning of running beside the water.
Runners can expect a fast and flat road course with minimal elevation, making Dorney Lake particularly well suited to chasing a personal best. The 5K completes one lap, the 10K two laps and the Half Marathon four laps with a U turn on each lap, with chip timing providing accurate results across all three distances.
The open lakeside surroundings give runners clear views across the water and the wider Dorney Lake grounds throughout the event. Every finisher receives a themed medal, with free race photography, post race goodies and a bag drop also included.
