Organised by Dorney Lake Events, Run Dorney takes place at the London 2012 Olympic rowing venue, with runners able to choose from a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon. The event is suitable for runners of all abilities, from first-timers to experienced athletes chasing a personal best.
The flat, traffic-free course follows the roads around Dorney Lake, providing a fast and accurately measured route with excellent lakeside scenery. The 5K is one lap, the 10K is two laps and the Half Marathon is four laps plus a short out-and-back section.
All runners receive chip timing, a themed finisher's medal, free official event photos and post-race goodies. Water stations, marshals and free parking help create a friendly, professionally organised race day experience.
