Male Runner In The Park

Donate a run for the NHS

Running Bear, the Cheshire-based running store, has invited everyone to show their support for the NHS by nominating one of their runs over a two week period. Donate a minimum of £1 to their JustGiving page and play your part in the war on coronavirus.

Runners are asked to unite during this crisis on behalf of NHS front line and support staff working around the clock to care for us during the pandemic. They are putting their lives on the line as they go above and beyond the call of duty to treat an overwhelming number of patients affected with this disease.

Specialist retailer Running Bear is an active presence at local events and a keen supporter of local clubs and the community. They have extended this approach with the launch on 30 March of their Run4TheNHS with the aim of raising £1,000. All donations will go directly to the NHS Charities Together Covid-19 appeal.

So what can you do? Keep doing the activity you love which is running whilst ensuring you stick to the guidelines about social distancing. Then dedicate one of your runs during this 14 day challenge to the NHS and share this with Running Bear and the wider community using the hashtag #Run4TheNHS on their Facebook page. Pledge a minimum donation of £1 on Running Bear’s Crowdfunding page.

The Running Bear team will select winners at random for spot prizes. Over £300 has been raised so far for the NHS.
