DirtRun In The Dark Race 2 takes place in Wyre Forest near Kidderminster, Worcestershire. Organised by Pulse Events, this evening trail race challenges participants to complete a 10K course through woodland after sunset, with headtorches compulsory for everyone taking part.
The two lap 10K route follows forest tracks and off road trails, creating a different running experience in the darkness. Runners can expect varied woodland surfaces and the challenge of navigating by torchlight. Canicross participants are also welcome, allowing runners to complete the course with their dogs. A self service water refill point is available at halfway.
The event starts from Callow Hill Visitor Centre, with registration closing shortly before the race begins. Places are limited to maintain a manageable field, and prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers. Every participant completing the course receives a medal and finish goodies.
