RunThrough's Delamere Forest Trail Races bring 10K, 21K and 42K challenges to one of Cheshire's best known woodland destinations. Starting from Delamere Forest Visitor Centre, the event explores forest trails, open countryside and scenic viewpoints, with distances suited to different levels of trail running experience.
The routes take runners through Delamere Forest, around Blakemere Moss and along sections of the Sandstone Trail, with climbs towards Old Pale Hill providing panoramic views of the Cheshire countryside. The 42K race follows a two lap course, passing the event village at halfway. Runners can expect varied trail surfaces, woodland scenery and a rewarding mixture of climbs and descents.
All three distances are chip timed, with marked routes and marshals at key junctions. Participants receive a themed finisher medal, free race photography and post race refreshments, with bag drop facilities available. The event provides an opportunity to explore Delamere Forest while taking on a memorable autumn trail running challenge.
