Defeat Delamere is a trail running event set among the woodland and rolling hills of Delamere Forest in Cheshire. Runners can choose from 5K, 10K and 16K routes, with a Junior race also forming part of the event.
The adult races follow a varied mix of forest trails, gravel tracks and undulating natural terrain. All three distances climb towards Pale Heights, while the 10K and 16K also pass Blakemere Moss and follow part of the Sandstone Trail through Nettleford Wood.
Routes are fully marked and marshalled, with chip timing provided for the adult races. Finishers receive an event medal and T shirt, with the combination of several distances and a Junior race creating an event suitable for runners and families.
