The Deal 10K is called 'The Dinosaur' in fond memory of club co-founder Roger Francis-Darby, who sadly died of skin cancer in 2000. During his competitive running, duathlon, and multisport career he often referred to himself as an old dinosaur (despite being in his mid-50's) so when he passed away, the name of the Deal Regatta 10K was changed to the Dinosaur 10K.
The Fun Run starts at 9.30am.
