The Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta Road Race is organised by Dartmouth Amateur Athletic Club as part of the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. Established in 1980, the event attracts runners from across the South West and beyond for a distinctive 5.1 mile road race through one of Devon's most picturesque coastal towns.
Starting and finishing beside Dartmouth Boatfloat, the accurately measured course follows streets through the town before climbing Newcomen Road and Weeke Hill and completing the renowned Redlap loop. The challenging route combines historic surroundings, rewarding views and a memorable finish in the heart of the Regatta celebrations.
Professional chip timing, experienced marshals and a well organised race day help deliver an excellent running experience. The unique setting, enthusiastic local support and longstanding place within the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta have made this one of Devon's best known summer road races.
