The Dartmoor Full Circle 100 is a continuous 100 mile trail ultra that completes a full circumnavigation of Dartmoor. Starting and finishing at OCRA Pavilion in the Park in Okehampton, the route follows the waymarked Dartmoor Way around the northern and southern sections of the moor.
Runners tackle over 4,000m of ascent across a demanding mixture of rocky and boggy moorland, ancient tracks, woodland and riverside trails, green lanes and quiet country roads. Competitors must navigate the route and visit six indoor checkpoints, with a 34 hour time limit to complete the full circuit.
Designed for experienced ultra runners, the Dartmoor Full Circle 100 requires previous long distance experience and mandatory race kit. GPS tracking is used throughout the event, while checkpoints provide food and drink and the course is supported by an experienced event and medical team.
