Dark Valley Night Trails is an evening trail running event organised by BigFeat Events at Moors Valley Country Park near Ringwood, Dorset. The event features 10K, 20K and 30K distances, taking runners through the forest after dark on wide, winding woodland paths.
The course follows a fully marked 10K trail loop, with runners completing one, two or three laps depending on their chosen distance. Fluorescent directional markers and marshals guide participants through the woodland, while headtorches or chest torches are mandatory. The forest setting and night-time conditions create a distinctive trail running challenge for runners of different abilities.
Runners have access to a stocked aid station, bag drop facilities and free parking at the country park. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, with the option to have a tree planted instead. The 10K has no cut off time, while the 20K and 30K have limits of three and four and a half hours respectively.
