Fast Time For All In Fradley
If you're looking for a super-fast course this spring, check this race out...
The Florette Fradley 10K returns on Sunday 8 March 2026, offering runners another opportunity to chase fast times on one of the Midlands’ most popular flat road races. Set just north of Lichfield, the event takes competitors through the quiet country lanes around Fradley, combining peaceful rural views with a friendly and supportive race atmosphere.
Known for its smooth tarmac roads and minimal elevation, the course has become a firm favourite with runners targeting personal bests while still being welcoming for those taking on their first 10K. The route covers flat country roads and provides ideal conditions for settling into a rhythm and finishing strong. The course is ideal for all runners - as organisers explain: "It is a race that suits both newcomers looking for an encouraging experience and seasoned club runners aiming to test their pace."
The Fradley 10K has built a reputation beyond the region and has previously been nominated in the National Running Awards as one of the best 10K races in the country for PB potential. Local support and experienced marshals help create a positive race-day feel, giving runners a boost when they need it most.
Last year’s event saw 842 runners cross the finish line. Toby Oury took the win in an impressive 33:45, while Beth Tabor of Tipton Harriers was the first female finisher in 36:54, underlining the quality field the race continues to attract.
