The Cotswold Way Relay is a long established team relay first held in 1993, following the full length of the Cotswold Way National Trail from Chipping Campden to Bath. Covering 103 miles in 10 consecutive stages, the event brings together running clubs and teams for one of Britain's most iconic off road relay races.
The route is approximately 90% off road, passing through rolling hills, ancient woodland, farmland and picturesque Cotswold villages before finishing in front of Bath Abbey. Each stage offers its own character, varying in distance, ascent and technical challenge, with route finding forming part of the traditional spirit of the event.
With hand timed stages, team competition, spectacular countryside and a memorable point to point format, the Cotswold Way Relay continues to be one of the UK's premier trail relay events, combining endurance, teamwork and the outstanding scenery of the Cotswolds National Landscape.
