This event is always fizzing with race day excitement. The marshals are always cheery, and you'll enjoy plenty of local encouragement as you charge towards the finish line. Despite its challenging nature, the race has always proved popular, and it is suitable for both experienced athletes and runners new to the sport. The home stretch is straight and largely downhill (ish) so a fast finish is almost guaranteed.
