The Overgate Hospice Colour Run is a family friendly 5K charity event held at Savile Park Moor in Halifax. Participants are invited to run, walk or dance their way around the course while being showered with colourful powder paint, helping to raise funds for Overgate Hospice and its specialist end of life care services across Calderdale.
The untimed route is designed to be accessible for all ages and abilities, creating a fun and inclusive atmosphere rather than a competitive race. Colour stations positioned around the course cover participants in vibrant powders before everyone comes together for a colourful finish line celebration featuring music, entertainment and a mass colour party.
Organised as one of Overgate Hospice's flagship fundraising events, the Colour Run combines community spirit, family fun and charitable giving. Fancy dress and white clothing are encouraged to make the most of the colourful experience, with all proceeds supporting the hospice's vital work.
