The Coln Valley Charity Trail Run is a family friendly running event set in the Cotswold countryside around Coln St Aldwyns. The routes explore the River Coln valley, with the longer distances heading through the landscape between Coln St Aldwyns and Bibury.
The 5K and 10K courses are around 95% trail, following gently undulating terrain predominantly across grass pasture after an initial climb out of the valley. The 10K extends towards Bibury on a figure of eight route that passes the well known Arlington Row cottages before returning towards the finish.
A 2K Steeplechase Fun Run provides a shorter cross country option over undulating grassy fields, with hay bale hurdles and several playful course features. The event raises funds for Hatherop Primary School, with refreshments and a barbecue adding to the community atmosphere at the finish.
