The Cobbler Hill Race is a 6K hill race held in Ardgartan, Arrochar, within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The route climbs 730 metres to the summit ridge of The Cobbler before returning by the same route, following marked mountain paths with mandatory checkpoints.
Organised in support of Arrochar Mountain Rescue, the race is open to runners aged 18 and over and follows Scottish Hill Runners safety guidelines. Registration takes place at the Ardgartan Hotel before competitors walk to the start, with mandatory kit checks carried out before the race begins.
The Cobbler is one of Scotland's most recognisable mountains, and the route packs a significant amount of climbing into a short distance. Steep ascents, rocky ridges and panoramic views across the Arrochar Alps make this a memorable challenge for experienced hill runners.
