The Portsmouth Coastal Half Marathon takes place in Southsea on the Hampshire coast as the Sunday event of the Portsmouth and Langstone Coastal Half Marathon weekend. The Half Marathon starts and finishes near South Parade Pier and follows a fast coastal loop around the eastern side of Portsea Island.
The route uses seafront promenades, waterfront paths and coastal roads with wide views across the Solent and Langstone Harbour. This flat multi terrain course combines exposed shoreline sections with historic coastal scenery, creating a scenic and accessible Half Marathon experience beside the south coast.
