The Autumn Clock Change Challenge brings a choice of 10K and 5K road races to Calne, alongside a 1.5K fun run for younger runners. Based at Calne Community Campus, the established event welcomes a range of abilities and provides a lively morning of racing for individuals, clubs and families.
Both the 10K and 5K follow accurately measured out and back courses along quiet country lanes. The routes are fast and flat, making them well suited to runners targeting a personal best as well as those looking for an accessible road race. The 10K also forms part of the Wiltshire Road Race League, adding a competitive club element to the event.
The supporting 1.5K fun run takes place around traffic free sports fields, giving younger runners their own event away from the road courses. Finishers across all three races receive medals, while facilities at the community campus include parking, changing areas, showers, toilets and refreshments.
