The Chris Lam Memorial Trail 5 Miler is a multi terrain running event in Merseyside starting and finishing at Clock Face Country Park in St Helens. Organised by Widnes Running Club, the race takes runners through Clock Face Country Park, Maypole Wood and Griffin Wood on a varied off road course.
The 5 Mile route combines woodland trails, park paths and muddy sections with changing terrain throughout, creating a challenging but enjoyable trail running experience.
Held in memory of Widnes Running Club member Chris Lam, the event has developed a strong community atmosphere with supportive spectators and a friendly race day feel. The combination of scenic trails and local support has helped make it a popular fixture on the North West trail running calendar.
