Chiltern Ridge Half Marathon

The Chiltern Ridge Trail Half is organised by Runaway Racing and takes place from Wendover in Buckinghamshire. This challenging trail Half Marathon follows a spectacular route through the Chiltern Hills, combining classic sections of the Ridgeway National Trail with woodland trails, open ridgelines and panoramic countryside views.

The fully marked 21.1K course features approximately 526 metres of ascent and takes runners to Whiteleaf Hill Nature Reserve before returning to Wendover. A mixture of natural trails, forest tracks and undulating terrain provides a rewarding challenge for experienced trail runners and those looking to step up to a more demanding Half Marathon.

The event features chip timing, fully marked routes, well stocked checkpoints and a welcoming finish area. Professional organisation and one of the finest trail Half Marathon routes in the Chiltern Hills have established the Chiltern Ridge Trail Half as a popular fixture in the summer trail running calendar.
