The Cheshire Autumn Half Marathon takes place at Capesthorne Hall near Macclesfield, with a scenic route through the surrounding Cheshire countryside. The race starts and finishes outside the historic hall and follows flat rural roads closed to traffic for the event.
Runners can target a fast half marathon time on an officially measured, Run Britain and UKA licensed course known for its PB potential. Chip timing, kilometre markers and a three hour cut off provide a structured race experience for runners across a range of abilities.
Finishers receive a themed medal, free race photos, chip timed results and post race goodies. A Junior Race also forms part of the event, making the day suitable for younger runners and families as well as those taking on the half marathon.
