The Charm Bracelet Morland Half Marathon is a trail race for runners and walkers organised by The Charm Bracelet Trail Events from the village of Morland near Penrith in Cumbria.
The largely off-road Half Marathon follows mixed terrain through the Eden Valley, accumulating around 1,330ft of elevation. Starting and finishing in Morland, the route passes rivers and becks, picturesque villages, woodland and pastures, sharing some sections with the longer Morland Marathon course. Navigation is partly self-supported, although signage is provided at points along the route.
Two checkpoints provide water and snacks, and participants have five hours to complete the course. Finishers receive a medal and T shirt, with trophies awarded to the leading male, female and non-binary runners alongside male and female age category winners. Its combination of varied countryside, climbing and partial self-navigation makes this a distinctive Cumbrian trail Half Marathon.
