Canterbury 10 Mile Road Race is organised by Invicta East Kent AC and starts and finishes at the University of Kent in Canterbury.
The undulating road course is largely traffic free and begins with a one mile loop around the university campus. Runners then head north on a larger loop towards Whitstable, passing through Tyler Hill and Radfall before returning towards Canterbury via the Crab and Winkle Way.
The race is licensed by England Athletics and uses chip timing, with marshals around the course and water stations at approximately 3.5 and 7.8 miles. Its combination of undulations and faster sections offers good opportunities for competitive racing and personal best attempts.
Race headquarters at the University of Kent Sports Centre provides toilets, baggage facilities and refreshments. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, with free race photography also included.
