The Blackpool Race for Life 5K is organised by Cancer Research UK and takes place on the famous Blackpool Promenade. Starting and finishing beside the iconic Blackpool Tower and Comedy Carpet, the event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to run, jog or walk while raising funds for life saving cancer research.
The predominantly flat course follows the seafront promenade, combining smooth surfaced paths with panoramic coastal views. The updated route features the lower and middle promenades, with a short climb linking the two before returning to the finish beneath Blackpool Tower. The accessible course is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchair users with assistance.
