The Elements Series Earth Run is a flexible distance trail running challenge at Grafham Water in Cambridgeshire. It forms part of Phoenix Running's four event Elements Series, with runners able to enter individually or take on the full collection of themed events.
Runners complete repeated 5.3K out and back laps and choose how far they want to run, from a single lap through to Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultra distances. The largely flat and fast route follows paths around Grafham Water, giving runners the freedom to set their own distance and continue for as many laps as they wish within the event time.
Flexible start times allow runners to begin within the event's start window and decide their distance as they progress. All finishers receive a bespoke Earth medal, with the lap based format creating a supportive atmosphere as runners regularly return to the event base throughout their challenge.
