The Brig Bash 5 is organised by Perth Road Runners and is a popular summer evening 5 mile road race starting and finishing in Bridge of Earn. The event combines a friendly atmosphere with a fast, accurately measured course, making it a favourite among runners of all abilities.

The predominantly flat route follows quiet country roads south of Perth, providing excellent opportunities for fast times over the increasingly rare 5 mile distance. The event also includes the Brig Bash Mile competition, recognising the first male and female runners through the opening mile.

With chip timing, excellent organisation and the famous Brig Bash buffet after the finish, the race has become a well established fixture in the Scottish road running calendar, attracting runners from across the country each summer.
