The Durty Trail Weekender takes place on Sunday 9th August 2026 at Bowhill Estate near Selkirk, bringing together a range of off-road races in one of the Scottish Borders’ most scenic locations. Runners can choose from the 5K Durty Dash, 10K Weekend Wanderer, 25K Hill Hopper or 50K Hills & Horizons challenges.
The routes explore the Bowhill Estate and surrounding Border Hills, combining forest tracks, open hill paths, muddy trails and challenging climbs. From the accessible 5K route to the demanding 50K ultra, each course offers beautiful scenery, varied terrain and rewarding views across the Borders landscape.
The event provides marked courses, chip timing, medical support, prizes and a welcoming trail running atmosphere. With camping, live music and a weekend of outdoor activities available, the Durty Trail Weekender offers a full adventure experience for runners and supporters alike.
