The British Masters 5K Road Championships bring together masters athletes from across the UK for competitive racing in London's Battersea Park. Organised by Veterans AC on behalf of the British Masters Athletic Federation, the event is open to athletes aged 35 and over, with individual and team honours available.
The 5K course follows two laps of a flat, traffic free tarmac circuit, offering ideal conditions for fast times and personal bests. Two races accommodate different age groups, with men aged 35 to 64 racing first, followed by all women and men aged 65 and over.
Medals are awarded to leading finishers in five year age categories, alongside team awards. Race headquarters are based at the Bandstand, with changing facilities at the Millennium Arena and medal presentations at the Pear Tree Café.
