Black to the Trails Bristol is an inclusive trail running festival organised by Black Trail Runners at Blaise Castle Estate in Henbury.
The event offers 1K, 5K and 10K distances through the estate's woodland and parkland, welcoming children, newcomers and experienced trail runners. Created to increase ethnic diversity and representation in trail running, Black to the Trails welcomes participants from all backgrounds and abilities.
Alongside the races, the festival features music, food and activities, creating a lively community atmosphere that extends beyond the running itself. Under 16s can participate free of charge, while runners can enter more than one distance thanks to staggered starts.
The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and operates under UK Athletics rules. Finishers receive a medal and goody bag.
