The Black Bull 15 starts and finishes at The Black Bull in Chelmsford, following a 15 mile trail route through the surrounding countryside on a mixture of trails, footpaths, bridleways and quiet country lanes. A timed 15K hike follows a shorter version of the course for those preferring a non competitive challenge.
Organised by Multisport Management, the event is held under Trail Running Association rules, with the trail run and hike using a route narrative for navigation. Registration, the start and finish are all based at The Black Bull, with refreshments available after the event.
The Black Bull 15 brings together self navigation, varied trail terrain and a welcoming community atmosphere, offering runners and walkers an enjoyable endurance challenge through the Essex countryside.
