The Beast Run is organised by Bishop Wilton Show and takes place at the Bishop Wilton Showground near Pocklington, East Yorkshire. The event is a 7 mile cross country trail race set in the scenic Yorkshire Wolds, offering runners a challenging route alongside entry to the popular Bishop Wilton Show. 

The course starts and finishes at the showground and takes runners through the surrounding countryside with a mixture of climbs, descents and off-road terrain. The route includes the famous “Beast” hill, a short but steep climb that provides a memorable challenge while rewarding runners with impressive views across the Vale of York.

The event provides a fully marshalled and signed course with a friendly community atmosphere, making it suitable for experienced trail runners and those looking to try off-road racing. With its combination of scenic trails, challenging terrain and the unique backdrop of the Bishop Wilton Show, The Beast Run offers a distinctive Yorkshire running experience.
