BigSea is a spectacular coastal trail running event organised by BigFeat Events as part of the Classic Element Trail Series. Based at Knoll Beach, Studland, the event features Half Marathon, 18 mile, Marathon and 54K Ultra distances, with every route showcasing some of the finest coastal scenery on the Isle of Purbeck.
The single lap courses explore the Purbeck Hills and the Jurassic Coast, visiting iconic landmarks including Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge Bay, Chapman's Pool, Dancing Ledge, Durlston Castle and Old Harry Rocks. Steep climbs, rugged coastal trails and breathtaking sea views combine to create a challenging and rewarding experience across all four distances.
With fully marked routes, well stocked aid stations, bespoke finisher's medals, professional event support and an enthusiastic trail running community, BigSea delivers an outstanding day of trail running. As the Water event in the Classic Element Trail Series, it has become one of southern England's premier coastal trail running events.
