The Big Bear Summer 10K is a multi terrain race organised by Big Bear Events and held at Coombe Abbey Park near Coventry. Taking place on a summer evening, the event offers runners the opportunity to enjoy a well established off road course through one of the West Midlands' most attractive parkland settings.
The 10K course consists of two laps through woodland, meadow and open grassland on a mixture of natural trails and park paths. The undulating route features tree roots, uneven terrain and a small number of gates, creating an enjoyable off road challenge while remaining accessible to a wide range of runners. Water is available on course throughout the race.
All finishers receive a bespoke medal, with participants also able to choose a Big Bear Tree Token as a sustainable alternative. Combining scenic parkland running, relaxed evening racing and Big Bear Events' welcoming atmosphere, the Big Bear Summer 10K is a popular fixture in the Warwickshire summer running calendar.
